We need both, can’t discard logos entirely, but not can we throw out pathos. As for ethos… Well with the country in such a state of distrust caused by a mix of misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation, and ethical stances being so polarized, trying to use ethos for much of anything right now, although still useful, may be counterproductive with certain people who may distrust such an angle.
