Since Linux Foundation is based in the US, I think this is a way avoid problems with the US government. Contributions are still accepted, but there is need for more more documentation and those ppl. can’t be mentioned in the MAINTAINERS file. In the future the should switch their location to another country, where such compromise is not needed.
