Former US president Donald Trump said in an interview released Sunday that he will not run again in four years if he is not successful in his current bid for the White House. “I think that will be — that will be it,” Trump said when asked if he would make a fourth consecutive run for the presidency should he lose the November election against Vice President Kamala Harris.

I absolutely do not believe him. If he’s alive, and sane enough to try to make it happen, and not in prison, he will ABSOLUTELY try to run in 2028 if he loses next week.
This is to make him sound more reasonable/believable when he claims the election was rigged. He’s already said that when he wins, Americans will never have to vote again. So in his mind, he wins this election, and then never holds another one while alive.
