      When Hitler would speak in beer halls he’d emphasize national SOCIALIST WORKERS party. When he spoke to the press or the wealthy social clubs the emphasis was on NATIONALIST. Hitler, Trump, Mussolini, LePen, Dutarte all of them just say whatever will get them into power. Often downplaying any of the negatives their policies could cause for the audience.

      So yes, bankers, industrialists, and the idle rich supported Hitler, but also the common German trades person, factory worker, and low level bureaucrat. The common German did as much to elect Hitler as the wealthy did.

      Fascists gonna fascist.
