put all of your election posting here so it doesn’t bother anyone else!

from @[email protected]:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

well i think that’s a wrap, harris’ campaign deflated like a whoopie cushion, and the so-called “most important election of our lifetimes” didn’t even break the top 10 highest comment count smdh.

I’ve seen so many libs now going “latino men voted for trump cause they’re too sexist to let a woman lead” and wishing for their deportation while ignoring many latin american countries have had female leaders, currently Nicaragua does and Mexico literally elected one earlier this year but nah its latino men who are all sexist pigs, definatly not kamala bragging how she deported more immigrants than trump ever did or how the border wall is actually based lmao

Could be productive to have some web content devoted to documenting the shithead centrist dems who ran the Harris campaign in the vain hope that people knowing their record could prevent them from working in politics in the future.

Liberal family said people need time to mourn. I said fuck that shit, if you couldn’t expect the outcome then you’re not informed enough. They said it’s good to have optimism. I said it’s delusion. Maybe I’m being too harsh but their reactions feel so performative

It never ceases to amaze me just how unbelievably incoherent the political opinions are of like 95% of this country. It really is on full display right now. Social media is unbearable. Left leaning people from all walks of my life who I thought would at the very least have to see past a little bit of Kamala and the Dem’s bullshit, just a liiiittle bit, are like no “the choice was between a queen and a monster and y’all chose monster” etc. Almost every person in my life has no genuine understanding of what it is they are experiencing or talking about. No curiosity to try to unpack anything. Critique and evaluate the information they are presented with. And honestly worst of all is that everyone is still, STILL, AFTER YEARS OF THIS CONSTANT CONFLICTING SHIT, at their deepest level, above all patriotic to this country. It’s lazy, pathetic, immoral, and deeply embarrassing. 95% of 330 million people, just outright propagandized zombie narcissists who have no fucking clue what they’re saying
