What’s tankie about this?
Executing Israel on Netflix and people arguing over executing over public executions.
Executing Israeli politicians is extreme and probably correct to be removed, but I fail to see how it relates to tankies.
It seems on point for Tankies. They tend to call for extreme violent actions. For instance a while back they called for the destruction for France.
Wanting to execute people on TV seems like something normal people aren’t calling for. Maybe I’m missing something. How is this not Tankie?

All tankies are abnormal and extreme, but not all abnormal or extreme positions are tankie. Unless this relates somehow to the usual tankie obsessions of “This Right-Wing Behavior Is Left Praxis, Actually”, “West Bad Always”, “You MUST Support Fascist States Against Imperialism™”, etc, I don’t think it belongs here.

Hatred for Israel is far from a tankie-specific thing.
China actually vetoed a ceasefire resolution awhile back, as well. I think the comments displayed are pretty “normal” and also that the moderation to remove the comments was a justified action, but neither side seems to be shilling for dictators.
