I want to ask these people āWhat in your life would be measurably better if there are no longer people who are trans?ā I just donāt get the obsession and hate.
Itās an addiction. Bigots experience a rush when they get to express their hatred. Sure, nothing would be measurably better for them without trans people, but people with that particular addiction will feel worse anyway, until they identify a new target for hate.
They always justify it with conspiracy theories about how the chosen minority victim is secretly trying to harm them. āThink of the childrenā is an especially popular tactic.
