Before 2020, there was not a single law that banned access to gender-affirming care for trans people. Since then, nearly 36 states have attempted to restrict trans rights. This is not a coincidence. I think we should all be scared about these ruling since the supreme court has rules that you don’t have control over your own body. All of these rights are based on that foundation. Fundamentally and historically Christianity has placed very little value on the human body since it temporary while the human soul is not. This has lead to many atrocities to human beings since a saved soul is worth it in the end. This mean your body does not belong to you but rather to God and therefore his people on earth.
