I’m loving the look of what’s here so far, it’s gotten me super excited for it.
I’ve no idea where the story will go but it seems absolutely packed with some of the great moments of the OG and then some.
I think it’s a good way yo don’t know where the story will go. That make the original still playable and that let older gamer have some surprise. But maybe not every agrees with me.
I get where you’re coming from and do agree, maybe we’re both in the minority with that opinion. I’m enjoying the twists and changes as it brings something new and unexpected to the story.
But I also think it’s fine for people to not enjoy that. Different strokes.
YES! SE seems to be on a roll with FF. First, FFVIIR, then FFXVI and now this. Can’t wait.

If this remake series didn’t take 20 years to complete i might be interested. I don’t even mind it being a new game+
FF7 was a great game. I was there when it came out and I replayed it only god knows how many times…
But it’s honestly not that good.The OG FFVII is not my favourite in the series either, and like you was there for the release and have finished it multiple times since. But, how I feel about that doesn’t mean it’s not loved by majority of fans who had been asking for a remake for over a decade.
Either way I loved Remake and I’m incredibly excited by this announcement and look at Rebirth.
So because it’s loved by the majority of fans I can’t have my own opinion on it?
