How seamless the modern internet is. Lots of people aren’t old enough to remember how painful dialup was. Webpages and images took a long time to load. I’d open a video and pause it waiting for it to load so I can watch it in one go. If I wanted to play a flash game I would just go do something else for 15 minutes while it loads.

Oh and splitters were really uncommon so whenever someone picks up the phone, the internet would stop working. People don’t know the pain of downloading something for 3 hours and then shouting to your parents to not pick up the phone.

Now clicking something would load it almost instantly. How cool is that?

Dude, I remember the days of dialup. You’d be up all night and only see like six and a half boobs.

There are so many little things and big ones. I always bookend.y list with “healthy family” and “coffee”

However, tonight It’s 4AM. I’m winding my second shift of the day, after having 8 hours off from 1430-2230.

    Appreciate your sleep.

PS this isn’t my normal schedule. Just filling in overnight instead of working my normal shift on Friday.

Funny I was thinking of this yesterday. Now, I don’t know if it’d be considered a small thing, but I was looking at the pictures of my wife’s and I last vacation with our group of friends, and I just don’t think I appreciated that vacation enough as it was happening.

So I promised myself next time i go on a vacation or whenever i feel like I’m having a good time, to just take a second and just appreciate the moment im in as it is happening.
