Hi, every time for the last month or so that I’ve tried to upload an image for a post, I’ve gotten “task panicked”. This happens regardless of whether I use lemm.ee or Lemmy.world and I’m also seeing it on other clients. What gives?

Probably through web UI or another client.
I’m as surprised as you are ;-)
Same, can’t upload images but error is invalid peer certificate.
