    I don’t know the exact figures for Poland, but German farmers make 43% of their income from subsidies. Since most of them are European subsidies, I guess polish farmers are on a similar level.

    So essentially we’ve got state pampered rural idiots being squeezed by the food industry protesting against their natural enemy - the state. Classic.
