Anhinga Rest

This anhinga (Anhinga anhinga) doesn’t look like she wants to be messed with. I saw this bird during my last visit to Georgia.

“The name Anhinga comes from the Tupi Indians in Brazil, meaning “devil bird” or “evil spirit of the woods.”” - allaboutbirds.org
