Anhinga Rest
This anhinga (Anhinga anhinga) doesn’t look like she wants to be messed with. I saw this bird during my last visit to Georgia.

Anhingas lack the natural body oils that other birds species have, so they have to air out their wings to dry them off after diving into water after their primary prey, fish. Fun to watch.
