    The page also lists dragonflies as one of the animals they looked at, so I assume the study is broader than “just fish”. Wetland insects are really important for a lot of life up the chain. “You’re fucking yourself over big time and won’t be missed”

      I had a dragonfly or two in my backyard over summer. I noticed it when I was playing ball with my dogs. It seemed very interested in me and the dogs. It would fly away when I threw the ball, and then fly back over and it basically felt like it was observing me and the dogs. I just enjoyed it’s presence because I hadn’t seen one in a very long time. It is sad to hear they are on this list. :/

    It couldn’t be all of that deregulation going on in the world, or the fact that the “people” in power don’t give a flying fuck unless you’re handing them sacks of cash… right?
