I really don’t think these are going to be as great as they seem…

Like, they keep including DLSS 4 in all their comparison stats when:

DLSS Multi Frame Generation generates up to three additional frames per traditionally rendered frame, working in unison with the complete suite of DLSS technologies to multiply frame rates by up to 8X over traditional brute-force rendering. This massive performance improvement on GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards unlocks stunning 4K 240 FPS fully ray-traced gaming.

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/dlss4-multi-frame-generation-ai-innovations/

That includes a bunch of fake frames.

A 5090 that’s not an issue, because it’s already putting out like 120 real frames in addition to the AI guesses.

But the 5070 being the same as a 4090 is obvious bullshit, and I’m wondering how good that and the 5080 are really are going to be when you only count real frames. From the specs it seems like there’s less of the conventional stuff and just a whole bunch of AI stuff to make up for it.

We won’t have to wait long, but those “real to real” numbers are what I want to see.
