Well that’s a headline I didn’t expect to see today.
Japan is such a weird place.
I’ve been on the NYC subway.
This is in no way a first.
I love that Suzuki keeps doing these non-traditional venue DDT shows. He seems to have a great sense of humor between these shows and his appearance on Hey! (EW).
Imagine taking the train and murder grandpa comes on the beat the shit out of someone!
The event organiser, DDT Pro-Wrestling rented out the whole carriage, with the 75 available tickets selling out within 30 minutes.
Interesting way to do small venue theater.
DDT is no stranger to unusual venues for wrestling. They’ve done shows at water parks and on a baseball diamond among other places. The championship lineage for their Ironman Heavymetalweight title is a riot to read through as well, highlights include multiple different ladders winning the title, a title change that happened in a dream, and the entire audience of a show winning the title at one point
Yoshihiko sounds like a contender.
Murder Grandpa!
how japan people can maintain the energy throughout their lives to always do one shenanigans, are beyond my comprehension
