Following years of speculation and a flurry of trademark filings, Genki’s beloved Tokyo Xtreme Racer series is making a comeback on PC via Steam Early Access.
- Launch Date: January 23rd at midnight PST.
- Gameplay Overview: Players can enjoy the story up to its halfway mark, compete against over 200 characters, and drive real cars across an epic course of over 180 kilometers. The game will feature car tuning and customization as well.
An important point to note is that the Early Access version costs $29.99, with players able to upgrade to the full release when it becomes available at no additional cost. The Early Access period is expected to last approximately 4 months, and after this time, new features, improvements, and expanded content will be added.

I played the crap out of the original! I hope the controls are not the same haha. I enjoyed all the 90s cars, I’m a big Nissan Silvia fan. Hopefully they put in the S15.
