One easy way OpenSUSE could be made 5000% more friendly to gamers with NVidia cards: PACKAGE THE DAMN NEW FEATURE BRANCH DRIVERS ALREADY. Post version 550 drivers have been out of beta for almost a year now and everyone who wants to be able play games on Wayland or use any moderately graphic-intense program without putting up with a bunch of flickering and glitches are still waiting for it. Adding the proprietary drivers wasn’t a problem at all even for a noob like me. They do a fantastic job of packaging a driver for us and are maintaining the repositories for it. The problem I have is that they’re hell bent on sticking to the wrong version of the drivers that lacks significant functionality while the proper drivers that solves that problem have been out of beta for almost a year and they keep ignoring them.
