Any tips for oil? New player, love the game, but got to oil and it feels so overwhelming.

Lots of storage to give you time to figure it out.

Go for advanced oil refining ASAP.

Setup pumps to move your overflow around. If you have too much heavy oil, crack that into light. Of you have to much light, crack into gas. If you have to much gas, make into solid fuel.

It can be difficult to get your head around first time. If you’re taking advanced processing, making three output pipes parallel to the factories and outputting using large amounts of underground pipes helps a lot.

Is there any aspect in particular you’d like advice on?

For the basics I followed a play through, and got to a point where I was comfortable by my own. Tried the same with oil and all I see is that I need to plan sooo much stuff ahead, stuff I have 0 idea about.

Your and OP’s suggestions motivated me, tho. Gonna try again these days and let you know how it goes.

Hell yeah dude, keep it up. I feel like the hardest part of this game is not burning your brain out and pacing yourself, get that down and you should be golden.

Okay, so some updates: I did the mistake of coming back to the game, and I’m so hooked again. Currently making a bit of plastic and batteries to go full solar.

Thanks for cheering me up! :)
