The sad thing that this was not Trump; he just signed the EO. He probably doesn’t even know this lesson exists. This was some mid-level officer trying to hew to the EO and a memo from the Acting Secretary of the Air Force. The fact that it was this fast shows how many people all over the government are willing to comply with these immoral orders.
The National Rosie the Riveter museum in Richmond California (a stone’s throw from Berkeley, SF, Oakland, etc) removed an LGBT exhibit. They also weren’t told to do it but did so proactively so as not to fall afoul of Trump’s anti DEI order.
But no! Months ago I was assured by a chunk of replies that the military is loyal to The Constitution ™️ and therefore wouldn’t dream of carrying out any of Trump’s orders!

That’s sad. It was really disheartening to see the amount of preemptive cooperation.
