    personally i think ghouls should have some more variance. admittedly, given the creation kit’s systems it might be a little difficult, but surely a few extra headparts and some wackier, more deformed shapekeys could do something

      Yeah I agree with that. More horrible disfigurement would make sense for ghouls. They’ve become a bit too comic for my liking. I know Fallout has always had a humourous element, but I’d like to see future entries in the series lean more into the horror side of it again.

        Hancock from Fallout 4, source: fallout.wiki Ghouls are too cute now, at least in Fallout 3 they were clearly disfigured (if unvaried and lacking expressiveness) I agree, we gotta lean into the horror of ghoulification. As of present the anti-ghoul sentiments seem really hard to hold up in setting. Like, we coulda had ghouls with half-attached ears, and cancerous growths on their necks, but now we just get kinda melty mannequins.
