And once the smoke has cleared, for all the effort and untold innocent lives lost- nothing will have moved the needle in a favorable direction for anyone. In fact, I’d all but guarantee we’d live under an indefinite martial law the likes no one has ever seen.
It fucking sucks SO bad that we’re here, don’t get me wrong. And I’m well aware this’ll be the unpopular opinion here, but never in history has charging the guards in a prison ever netted a positive result for anyone, and sadly, that’s where we are now. It’ll just be risking too much for not nearly enough.
And don’t even ask me what alternatives there are. I’ve no fucking clue. I wish I did. But this is one of those situations where one might not know the proper way to exit an airplane at 32.000 feet, but it’s safe to say they know damn well not to do it without a parachute.
