There are a lot of leftists on .world. I’m not going to stand by while you bully someone for their instance. Yeah I wish I hadn’t picked .world but I did. I didn’t know shit about Lemmy.
I’m not going to abandon my account history. I have only been censored once and that was over some extremely profane unnecessary things I suggested be done with a judge’s body after he killed himself. I was in the wrong. It takes that level of bullshit to get censored.
I don’t even particularly like the commenter I’m defending. In fact I disagree with them often, including their comment on this post.
I think you misunderstood. He’s not gonna get made fun of here for being from Lemmy.world. He’s gonna get made fun of for being a liberal, complaining in an anarchist community about people being mean to liberals.
The bit about Lemmy.world was to point out that the mods here aren’t gonna stop people from making fun of him in the name of some contrived “civility”.
Fair enough. If I were to switch instances this is the one I would pick for what it’s worth. I’m going to register my name.
As far as the bigger instances go, this one certainly has a lower tolerance for bullshit from mods. I’m pretty happy with the way it’s being run. Just wish I had the money to toss at the server costs.
