El Salvador’s iron-fisted leader on Monday offered to jail Americans so President Donald Trump can outsource the US prison system, an extraordinary step that was hailed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

I’ve been telling my Salvadoran family since he was elected that this guy was gonna be trouble. They all point to the lower crime rate. When I point out the suspension of civil liberties, the unacceptable prison conditions and the fact that many innocent people are rotting in those prisons and my family, point to the lower crime rates. If I mention that once the gang members are gone, these mega prisons will need new victims from the next batch of undesirables, their response is to once again point at the lower crime rate.

This guy got elected by putting his hat on backwards and acting like an every man but he is a silver spoon nepo baby, a child of oligarchs who is most definitely not one of us. He’s a fascist and it’s insane he’s been allowed to become a dictator while people shrug

I love it when my government jails me and then ships me to a foreign country for my prison sentence, far from the nearest US court

I’m sure El Salvador has a wonderful prison system totally free from corruption… Oh. Oh no.

Just a reminder that if you live in the US, the 2nd amendment exists for exactly this reason, and it is woefully easy to exercise. And if you’re a communist, Marx agrees, you should be armed. “Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempts to disarm the workers should be frustrated, by force if necessary.”
