        technically you’re right, but ima be real; authoritarianism, blindly bootlicking states and championing genocide ain’t very “leftist”. They fail at the most basic tenant of socialism: workers owning the means of production. They are not socialists OR communists. At best they are social democrats that like to LARP as soviets.

      I ran into one day before yesterday who said I was “mentally ill” because the CCP had “400 million members” and there’s no way all of them could be part of some authoritarian “conspiracy”. He then told me to get help so I could be better.
