    Fucking GROAN. Jesus, this country really took a turn for the worse when that washed-up never-was was dusted off and given his own fucking game show for no goddamn reason whatsoever.

    He’s not really a businessman. And being a businessman is not an unqualified good, either. And certainly, this asshole being given accolades for being able to parrot that stupid line for decades now like a good little monkeyboy…well, it just shows you this country is not a fucking meritocracy.

      Agree on all points. Pretty much the same arc as Reagan - he was an idiot, but people knew who he was from his acting days, and he knew how to talk to a crowd - and his simple demeanor played well with blue collar workers and rural America. Naturally his neocon shit took the world on an awful turn for the worse, opening the door to Trump.
