      This is my personal opinion and not backed up by fact: I think climate change also has a hand in this as weather becomes more unpredictable and rides become more violent.

      Just like major wars got more common under Biden. Doesn’t mean they’re in any way related though. Judging by the article, this sounds like a mechanical issue / pilot error.
