Makes me wonder -wild thought, but- all the gestural symbolism in superhero movies and generally in fantasy stories, I mean the contact of the prophetic “healer” with one hand to somebody else’s chest, does it emerge from christianity ? as in, “the christ healing the sick” ? or something
