I can’t think of a better way to achieve the Streisand effect while also upping the value on all of the goods you’re trying to devalue.
I was in Colombia and I asked a few of the shopkeepers if they actually like the guy. They all had the same opinion that gringos will buy them for fun but they despise the guy.
