I’m seeing it in ~3 hours, I’ll try to remember to come back to this post to comment something (non-spoilery) when I get home!
UPDATE - Just getting home from the theater. I enjoyed it. No complaints about the CGI or the fight scenes. On first viewing, I’d place it just below Winter Soldier in my personal ranking of Cap movies - above First Avenger and well above Avengers 2.5… I mean Civil War.
For me it’s the worst of the four films, but only slightly behind the first Cap film. I give a little leniency to the first Cap since it was early in the MCU, but at this point things should be figured out (obviously if they took a big swing with this film and missed, I’d give them credit, but this was a pretty safe film).
To be clear, I enjoyed the film, and I think they salvaged it from an even worse film, but it’s got some issues.
I’m seeing it tomorrow, so no spoilers, but it currently has a 53% RT score. I’m still hoping for a good turn-your-brain-off experience.
Can’t wait for all the posts saying “I just saw Brave New World, I don’t get the hate!”

Tap for spoiler after you've seen the film
Hate is a strong word, so I don’t get the hate, but I get the criticism.
