    That implies he’s the president of the opposition, that being the Democrats. Elon is certainly supportive of Trump and the Republicans. Perhaps puppet master president is a better term.

      “Shadow” means opposition in parliamentary systems, but in the US it has more direct meaning. It just means someone pulling the strings.
