I’ve been using Signal since like 2016 when it was also my sms messenger. I’m also a federal employee. I’ve tried so many times to get people to use it and no one did that I eventually gave up trying. Until 2 weeks ago. Now I have well over 100 Signal contacts. Mostly government employees but a lot of others as well.

ugh. a local news guy mentioned X and it was like. why are they on it. make your own server for you channel and join the fediverse. why do companies want to cede control like that.
