It has to be done. We have to show we will tolerate imperialistic ambitions no more! USA can go f. itself. Weak and pathetic.

Good, unfortunately they can no longer rely on us (USA) with a president who literally just spewed russian propaganda.

    Traitors all of them.

Wow this is insanely good news. 👍 😀
I’m guessing this includes plans that span more than 1 year, so probably not 700 billion in 2025 alone, but really looking forward to hear the details. 😎

From what I understood it’s more EU will increase their military spending up to 700bn and in it there is the Ukrainian package (which imply that EU is just doubling their military spending).

Even if it’s that, I wonder if it was on putler bingo card since it means that EU spending will be almost on par with US spending while having common border with ruzzia, an Ukraine close to joining that alliance and with EU article 42-7 that will protect once and for all Ukraine from ruzzia once the peace is settled.

He must be enraged by that huge increase in military spending and that’s good :)

Baerbock added that peace can only be achieved through strength, stating that “this requires hard and long-term security guarantees for Ukraine, a strong NATO, and progress in Ukraine’s EU accession talks.”

Thank you Mr Trump, for kicking the EU leaders in the ass to take up them up. It’s been too long. Hopefully the majority will realise just how important it is to help Ukraine and end the war sooner than later without pussyfooting around the issue.

Trump is an idiot, but he is still an expert in manipulation. So I wouldn’t be surprised if this was exactly what he wanted. He has been very consistent that Europe needs to do more on defense, and now we do.

No Trump is in bed with Putin. He wanted Ukraine to just roll over and die and Putler to win. This is not in his plans. And no he’s not an expert in manipulation.

He literally just spewed a bunch of russian propaganda. Said Ukraine needs to hold an election and that zlenski has a 4% approval rating. He’s a traitorous piece of shit.

Yes seems like betting on the lowest denominator regarding Trump is the safer bet.
It will still be interesting to see how he reacts to mostly every country in the world being against him on this?

True, but it will, over time, seriously damage the US military industry. Europe won’t want to spend their money there, and nobody wants equipment that can only be used as approved by Trump.

I think so too, Trump is an idiot, so even getting what he wants, he doesn’t really understand the implications.

So we should just let Ukraine fall, which would embolden Russia to start wars in other countries to take them over, too?

Nobody really wants that, but considering the circumstances, we need to be able to defend ourselves.
Lack of military power is apparently still today an invitation for maniacs like Putin.
So it’s not actually money for war, it’s money to deter it. At what point have you seen EU being aggressive militarily?
EU was created to ensure the peace in Europe, but Russia has broken that thoroughly.
