I’ve checked, when I comment on [email protected] it does not show up on kbin.social/m/news, but they stilll kind of show up as federated?

idk if I am banned, I don’t recall breaking any rule…

This basically ends up being like a shadowban where I comment and it is only seen by EH users who look at the post

if this is how it is, how should we handle shadowbanned federation?

Thanks for coming to my tedtalk. Kbin is gay and im glad they dont get to enjoy my shitposts. If they actually took the work of shadowbanning each account from here that would be amazing if true

I cant post pictures but yes they are talking about it right now.

    The past says

"That entire instance is infested with a massive amount of right-wing hate, transphobia, homophobia, and ugly political vitriol under the guise of “allowing free speech”, rising to the same level or worse than lemmygrad (which we have already defederated from for obvious reasons). Please get this garbage off of the “all” page given that the entire instance actively breaks the rules of lemmy.one and is only providing them with a larger platform. I think a few trolls may have already spilled over.

just take a 20 second scroll through this mess or any of the other communities there: lemmy.one/c/[email protected]"

my problem is beyond this though, posts show up on my feed but when I comment on them, no comment appears over there… it’s like being shadowbanned basically

Ahhhh. I see, I see. What can we do then? Like what are you thinking?

Honestly if this were my situation and I had magical powers, I’d create a tool where the users can block instances themselves. Do we have that already ?

Or a create another instance to use as a sockpuppet and tunnel back through here ?

I mean that’s going out of the way clearly. But I can’t deal with that kind of ignorance. Like I said, if money and ability weren’t limitations, I’d give them the finger and create my own thing

          users can block instances

I think this feature is still being worked on

I mean I may just start account(s) on other instances

Lol that dank memes page is pretty funny.

To quash your worry, when you keep banning things, those people crave it more. Otherwise people will just get bored of the jokes if they’re only making trans jokes, then it’ll not be upvoted.

Let the system work, and use the block feature if you don’t like it.

I don’t get why more people don’t have this mindset. If you don’t like it, Block it on your account. Why do they feel the need to block it for others?
