I did the exact same thing after my Fossil Android watch battery could not hold a charge for more than 6 hours after having it for a few years. The batteries are not easily replaceable, if at all in smart watches. As far as I’m concerned, they are just manufactured e-waste.
I went with a Seiko Automatic style watch. I only need a watch to tell time and date.
