I’m amazed when they are genuinely surprised every time Trump does this kind of thing. Are they really that delusional and think “I’m different. He won’t do it to me”. Then the leopard eats their face and they are amazed.
Every conservative, from the highest ranking official down to the lowest blue collar worker, believes that they are the exception. They will be spared. They will see their enemies under their boot.
