The launch was not great but honestly it was not as bad for me as it seemed to be for other people. There were some pretty bad bugs in management but the game seems to be doing better now.

I highly enjoy the game. The path tool is a great addition even if it takes some time to get used to. The global illumination is also great. It’s not fully ray traced but the sense of scale it just adds to everything is it incredible. Just looking at coasters has never felt better. Also the change to the new DirectX version gives me great performance. Sure it ain’t 60 FPS but my park is all ready way higher in detail than everything I build in planco 1 and runs way better.

For what I’ve read, people are most upset with UI and basic things from PC1 not being present in PC2. They sound right, tho. The path tool looks amazing, I can’t wait to try it! The change of CirectX version seems to be great as well, like I said in my last post in the community, I can’t play my park in Planco 1 because it stutters so much and the fps drops like crazy with a bigger park. Can’t wait to try the Planco 2!

True there were some Headscratchers like the objects menu allways closing when you’re building in a building but most, if not all of it, is fixed now. Honestly the control feels really smooth now, since you hardly need to click menus now. Just double click on “thing” opens the corresponding “thing” - menu and let’s you edit straight away. And to leave a menu you no longer need to press escape but can just right clicks somewhere where you’re current “thing” is not. This makes incredibly smooth to switch between paths, terrain, coasters and scenery.
