Hi! I can’t draw to save my life, but since I discovered colouring books (I didn’t know they had them for adults, and especially I didn’t know they made non-mandala ones!!!) I’ve been feeling like a kid again.

I’m even using the same coloured pencils I bought and carried around since primary school.

I used Staedler Pencil Noris Colours and Royal Talens colour pencils, both packs of 24 colours.

So my message to any person that itches to create something but feels that it’s a huge task (I got overwhelmed drawing), please do give colouring books a chance.

You can get nice colours for little money (I paid 7€ for the Royal Talens pack) and the books themselves aren’t particularly expensive, especially if you are slooooow colouring like I am.

Don’t be afraid to try something new, and don’t let your age stop you from choosing cute books with huge drawings. Paint rainbows, colour flowers, take your time drawing sunglasses on the sun!!!
