Thumbnail is clickbait in the sense that the video does not address specific instances by specific creators, but is more of a call on everyone to reflect on certain behaviors we might/might not engage with. Just watch the first two minutes if that’s all the time you have right now, but do that much at least.

Edit: Some people are taking quotes that the AI has written in a comment and acting as if that’s what’s actually in the video. It’s not. I thought it should be obvious that if you want to critique the video, you have to watch it rather than depend on an AI to to provide a a summary.

Leftism, no matter of what type, from Marxism of the 19th century to Marxism-Leninism in the 20th, and of course the various different stripes of Anarchist movements have always been feminist. In the Communist Manifesto itself Marx and Engels talk about women’s rights particularly as it relates to family, marriage and prostitution. Explicit focus was put on women’s rights and issues during the Russian Revolution.

There is no successful leftist movement, no “violent capture of capital” as you call it, without addressing the unique challenges women face under our current society. Women make up 50% of the freaking proletariat.

And historically, this isn’t the demographic that leverages violence well.

Just…absolute fucking nonsense. You know nothing about feminism except the sanitized version you’ve been fed and, worse than that, have absolutely zero curiousity and desire to learn. You seem to fucking gloat in your ignorance. Is that also what you think of the Civil Rights Movement because it was “non-violent”?

I never became a leftist to solve the Feminist, gender, or race questions for my society.

I’m going to hope you’re just young and ignorant. There will be no revolution without solving “the Feminist, gender or race questions” along with the various others you have not mentioned. I’m going to stop here because otherwise I’ll lose my cool. The people most oppressed under capitalism, who have the strongest reason to fight, are who you’re saying “nah, I don’t care about your struggles.”

    Just…learn a little.
