Tldr:
- some airlines say power banks must be within arm’s reach
- some airlines say power banks must be stowed away
Check with your airline before traveling.
It seems like the most practical way to approach this as an airline passenger is to place your battery into superposition where the battery can be both within arm’s reach, but also stowed away. Warning, do not observer or interact with the battery while the flight is in the air lest you collapse the waveform and lose superposition.
Just an arm and leave it with the battery, problem solved.
lest you collapse the waveform and lose superposition.
But then I could reach my destination instantly!
All of them at once!
That seems overly complicated. How about just bringing an extra arm in the carry-on?
If you just bring s whole other person in your checked bags, you save on ticket costs, too.
Easy. You put it in your backpack under the seat in front of you with a long cable. Now no one knows it exists, but your bag is within arms reach so the battery is too
And the article only refers to airlines in east and southeast Asia.
and check if your airline allow you to use power bank during the flight and this is quite problematic for someone who want to work or play games during long flight. For now, only Cathay allows you to use it.

There are so many useless bots out there. An archive bot would be great!
On lemmy default UI, it lets you automatically replace the link with an archive link.
I’m on just a regular browser. Can I do this? I don’t use apps.
