Feeling accomplished… Never hit legend in Hearthstone and have been working towards this since launch. Using a deck Bynx made https://youtu.be/1U8UBOopKK4 and I highly recommend.

I didn’t have Silk when I first started climbing with this deck and was using lizard for the majority of it, and picked up Silk from the token shop near the end. It did make a small difference but I was so close it also could’ve been luck!

I’m not sure I agree about conquest, I find that certain decks that are not common in the meta rely on the element of surprise and unexpectedness work better on the ladder since your opponent doesn’t get to learn your deck over time. But I also haven’t really enjoyed conquest nearly as much 😅

I think playing conquest trains you for ladder because if you don’t learn how to snap correctly you end up wasting your time on 1 cube games. If you want to end conquest matches quickly, you have to learn to snap correctly to press your advantage and pressure the opponent to give up more cubes. Once you do that, approaching infinite ladder is much easier because you will be able to aggressively snap on players who have no idea what your deck does. If you rely on surprise with your deck like you say, you should be trying to get 4 to 8 cubes from the first round of conquest, since your opponent hasnt seen your deck yet.
