In SMT V there are Miracles that unlock after completing a Law or Chaos cycle. If I buy them and then do another cycle as another alignment, do I keep them? Even on Newborn?
The wiki says you only keep the Demon Skill Slot Miracles, but I want to do four full cycles, and 100% the game. All endings, demons, and Miracles.
Thanks in advance.
I believe they’re only available on Reborn, but you must purchase the route-exclusive miracle(s) before beating the final boss on the clear file you’re using. So as long as you cycle with Reborn for the next three cycles and purchase the miracles each time, you should be able to get the full miracle list.
The sub being private means I can’t scrape through my comment history (I’ve definitely answered this question before), but that’s what I recall.
[Spoiler] SMT V NG+ miracles
I specifically remember learning that the Law miracle is mostly pointless, since you can’t bring it into Newborn files.
Hello! Just wondering if you’d personally recommend Digital Devil Saga or Raidou Kuzunoha to someone coming from Devil Survivor 1/2 and the Persona series?
I used to own the games as a teen and then I never played them because I was too busy with the other games, so I’m interested in re-exploring them and giving them a shot.
this is a community about smt so naturally we’ll recommend the games to you lol
but i say with absolute insistence that you should play DDS, its awesome. definitely either play DDS or nocturne before playing the raidou games
as much as i love the raidou games, raidou 1 is kinda poopy gameplay wise which is mostly corrected in raidou 2. play it after dds and nocturne so you hopefully have the patience for it
very different games. dds is more in line with persona, but it’s more fair to compare it to ffx because it has very similar leveling mechanics. there’s also no demon fusion.
raidou is an arpg and a pretty poorly playing one at that, but people love it for the story, characters and general atmosphere. raidou 2 is generally considered worse when it comes to those things, but the consensus is that it’s really damn fun.
