I haven’t played a Person 3 game yet. I’m just curious, is there a reason for both of these game to coexist?

Persona 3 Reload is a remake from the original game Persona 3 game with additional Story scenes a battle system that is an upgrade from the Persona 5R battle system. And of course it has better graphic than the original Persona games.

Persona 3 Portable is the current version that got a release on modern consoles and Pc. I heared the version wasn’t the best version acording to fan. Maybe because of missing cutscenes. But it’s still a enhance version from the original Persona 3 game.

Sure Persona 3 Reload isn’t released yet, but would you still recomend someone to play Persona 3 Portable or just wait for the Remake of it?

I have played some emulated games, but only when i owned the game. I don’t want to critisise someone that does play emulated games that they don’t own, but i just don’t want do play like that. And i don’t have the ps2 fes game and i’ts probably not that cheap to buy. So don’t know if that’s an option for me

We honestly don’t know yet. Not having the female protagonist option in Reload and it missing a chunk of the content that was in Persona 3 FES are already strikes against it. It’s kind of a meme at this point that Atlus refuses to put out a definitive version of the game, because it’s looking like all the versions are going to have pluses and minuses.

P3P is missing the animated cutscenes, but that’s a pretty small part of the overall game. The bigger question is whether the version’s heavy lean into visual novel style is enough of a turnoff for you to go with the full price remake.
