I posted a review on the 10” men’s commission golf shorts a week ago. After over a week of being posted, I then received an email GEC reprimanding me that I “violated their policy”. Today, Lululemon has deleted the review as it “violated their policy”.
My review was a 1 star review based on my experience with the product. In under a week it quickly rose to the most voted for review on the shorts. So obviously a lot of the community agreed with my opinion.
I thought the point of reviews were to let their fans/community give feedback? And hopefully help the design team? Guess I was wrong… Huge fan of their clothes, but this has reached a new low. Curating reviews and deleting peoples reviews is too far.
I do not see how my review below violates any policy. And it’s clear since it was the top voted review that the community agreed. But instead of listening to their customers, they choose to put them down. Just another tick in the box recently of Lululemon changes that are pretty bad and aggravating as a customer…
My review was as follows:
I have been hesitant on these shorts for a number of reasons. Currently I used my 11” Commission Warpstreme shorts as my go to golf shorts. Please make more of these!
Two areas of feedback on these shorts:
- One, please make an 11” version of these! Us taller guys don’t want to have to wear shorts high up on the thigh for golf.
- Two, they need a redesign that is geared towards golf. The golf ball small side pocket is useless and no golfer uses this. It can be removed. Also, snaps on the rear pockets are a big no no. This is where glove and yardage book go. Snaps can ruin/tear these by rubbing against them.
EDIT: Also what bothers me a ton is that Lululemon claims equality and free speech. They have it posted everywhere in store, on shopping bags, etc. Yet they do this…
