Looking through your post history. I probably wouldn’t have pegged your English as non-native had you not mentioned it here. Maybe an occasional dropped article or odd word choice, but nothing native speakers don’t do, especially in casual writing.
should be piqued. Lots of native speakers miss this word too, but the majority would have gone with peaked as the closer homophone.
