Hi all, happy to be here on lemmy. Hoping i can get as much info from here as i did with r/reaper. it might take awhile but hopefully we can get somewhat close. I was wondering what some of you guys use for synth plugins in reaper. RIght now im using Surge XT and Hybrid (got it free with my Akai mpk mini). i would like some more to play around with and also really any other plugins you guys recommend to help your workflow and keeping the creative ideas coming. if you are into more vintage sounds I recommend checking out TAL U-No 60. its meant to resemble the Roland Juno 60. you can get some really juicy old school sounds out of it and it’s pretty easy to use.
this next plugin only helps work flow if you also play stringed instruments. the default plugin, Reatune, works as a tuner. it works pretty effectively and I keep it in my amp sim templates.
