    Any portion of the ball can hover of the line and it is till in. That’s the rule. VAR needs a definitive angle. There wasn’t one.

      Yeah so the ref lets play go on because VAR will fix it and then VAR can’t so by default there’s more leeway for the attackers

        Correct, if the ref doesn’t know something definitively, they should let play go on - no matter the case.

          Yes. But then we either need VAR to actually be able to make a decision, or the ref should be allowed to make it according to his best judgement, which won’t happen; so it should be down to VAR to judge as best they can instead of clear and obvious error
