Tunnels an other facilities are only for use by terrorists.

Sheesh. Wasn’t expecting it to be so clean cut, ao this is news to me. I’ve heard most Hamas leaders do not live in the Gaza Strip but in Qatar. In mansions. So Hamas is not only an evil that can be used to justify Israeli violence - but controlled opposition - because they don’t defend Palestinians from the violence either. Have I got this right? They really don’t care. That’s so sad.

On top of that, Hamas has an estimated 60 MILES of tunnels and structures under the Gaza Strip. 60 Miles of potential shelter for civilians. What I don’t understand, is why 2.2 million Palestinians haven’t turned on Hamas at this point. Being Hamas is only 30 thousand (IDF Estimate, and probably a lot less now) strong.

Out of the 2.2 million, half of them are children. The other half is probably too busy trying to stop said children from being slaughtered by missile strikes to start a revolution.

The lack of a revolution, combined with public support for intifada is killing their children. Israel’s response to such a bloody attack on their civilians should be unsurprising.

Thats a reallt interesting question, that I havent heard anyone else ask. Ive seen people say Palestinians are very dissatisfied with Hamas… But actually force Hamas to be useful to them? 🤔

Surprisingly, I will keep blaming the ones sending missiles directly into hospital and refugee camps for the deaths.

I would caution you about the fog of war and trusting either side is being an honest reporter of events.

Hamas is lying. The IDF is lying.

Stop repeating either of their lies as truth.

Do you actually think the number of deaths in Gaza have been proportional to the number of people Hamas killed in their attack? Do you really think Hamas is the one putting out those numbers and not humanitarian organizations?

100%. Everyone has an agenda. Which of those humanitarian orgs exist and are allowed to operate only with Hamas’ blessing? Do you believe they will be reliable narrators when going against Hamas means death or that they can’t operate effectively in Palestine? Critical thinking says unlikely.

We have no idea what the actual number of civilian dead are. We don’t even know how many are dead and won’t for a while.

We just have what one side who is lying is saying, vs the other side who is lying is saying.

Pretending that one set of biased information is better than another is a bit lazy.

They’ve been bombing the shit out of Gaza for days and raiding it over and over again and you think that they haven’t killed far more in Gaza than have been killed in Israel? Are the bombs exploding with flowers?

I mean you can watch the bombs fall in real time on YouTube live.

Suggesting that there haven’t been massive casualties in Gaza is naive.

I have never suggested there haven’t been casualties. I in fact haven’t suggested whether it’s been more or less than the Israelis Hamas slaughtered and kidnapped, but that’s a ghoulish way of keeping score anyway.

All ive said is both parties are lying to their advantage to try to get simple minded people to think in terms of black and white and one party is right and the other wrong.

When they’ve both been wrong for decades. There are no winners here, only losers.

Why isn’t Palestine using the resources Israel withholds from them to build bomb shelters to protect from the missiles Israel shoots at them?
