You may wonder what lead to this, so I must confess that I made the mistake of claiming that Palestinians deserve basic human rights (my exact words were “I support an end to the occupation.”)

If the outcome they’re referring to is the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians through murder and expulsion, what is the source of the compulsion that makes it inevitable?

    Nature? - That’s clearly an anti-Semitic claim.
Nurture? - End Zionist indoctrination and brainwashing of Israeli youth.
Religion/supernatural powers? - That’s just cover for more racism.

The terminally online tankies are tiiiiiiiired.

They were also a massive hypocrite. They asked me consider the human cost of saying that I support an end to the occupation in a YouTube comment, a meaningless gesture that will never hurt or help anyone, but said I can’t criticise Israel for bombing hospitals and refugee camps unless I had any better ideas for defeating Hamas. I shouldn’t have let them drag me into their BS, but they insinuated that supporting an end to the occuption would inevitably result in Israel being invaded by the surrounding Arab countries. I told them that justifying apartheid with hypothetical scenarios is recyled South African apologia, but they were able to use my respect for all human life to bait me into their game. Next time I won’t bother with anyone who think’s people’s basic rights are up for debate.
